Pupil Voice Questionnaire

Hi everyone!
I hope that all of your exams have gone well and that you are enjoying the gorgeous summer we're having! Oly, I hope your head is nice and cool!

I was wondering if I could ask a huge favour from you and ask you to fill in a student voice questionnaire for me. I need to make sure that students are getting the most out of their lessons and if not I can put steps in place to make sure that the department runs a little smoother.

Oh and the class photo is now in and will be going up tomorrow!!

Enjoy and thank you in advance!

Hope you all got the message about the revision lesson being moved, it's now WEDNESDAY 2nd JUNE! It has been changed due to the office staff who typed up the letter not informing me that school was closed on Tuesday, wonderful!

Hope you're all out celebrating the end of sixth form, hence why I am not ha!

FINISH YOUR WORK!

You are all WELL over due on your deadline for A2 coursework and are currently under achieving! You should get all of the following done:
- Mock ups of your posters and magazine front covers
- Storyboards
- Production Logs
- Audience Feedback
- What share you played in the production
- any drafts of trailer or posters/magazines
- Risk Assessment forms

For all of the above you've had since February, it's getting out of hand that you keep pushing this! If you don't want a good grade then that's fine, leave it as it is, don't then come to us asking why you didn't get a good mark.

Blog example

Although these students are doing a different brief, look at what they have put on their blogs and you will be able to see how much work you need to do.

You need to get your work done as soon as possible otherwise you will not be prepared for your exam. The sooner you realise it the better!

Update

Sorry I've not given any help on her yet. I have put together a list of all of the things you need to put on your blog for February 19th as a guide, feel free to do more than this.
  • Introduction to your blog
  • Research plan
  • Questionnaire
  • Analysis of Shutter Island materials: Poster, Trailer, Front cover
  • Analysis of one other film's promotion package of your choice.
  • Evaluation of the theories you will apply in your work
  • Production schedule
  • Location scouting images
  • List of costume choices
  • List of make-up requirements
  • A list of shots
  • Storyboards
  • Actors list
  • Music lists
It seems a lot but once you get together in your groups and get your ideas together, you'll be fine. Remember how quickly you got the concept together for your first trailer and you can realise it's possible.

I'll pass out examples of things if you need them.

Good Luck,
Miss Walsh
